Silly Parker Story

Tonight I was getting Parker ready for bed and I said "Time to brush your teeth." He went running down the hall to the bathroom and stepped up on his stool to brush his teeth and starts to brush. He brushed the front all by himself and I reminded him to "brush the back." As soon as I told him to brush the back, he took the toothbrush out of his mouth and started to brush his back. I couldn't help but laugh. He is too smart.

Parker's 3rd Haircut

Parker had his 3rd haircut on Sat. This time Randy cut his hair......very quickly. We didn't even make it out of the car before he started screaming. Lucky for me, Daddy got the pleasure of holding him the chair. Janelle was so sweet and brought him some bugs to hold, which he wanted nothing to do with, well, at least not until it was over then he thought they were so neat. One was a dragonfly ring, another a spider ring and a little snake. Randy gave the fastest cut I've ever seen and it looks great. Magically as soon as the haircut was done, the crying stopped. Ironic?? We tried every thing....M & Ms (his favorite), ice cream, toys....nothing worked until he was finished then he walked around with a smile on his face. He is one smart cookie.

My Little Boy Turned 2!

Parker got to have two parties for turning 2 this year. We had the grandparents down and michele for one of the parties and then a family and friends party the following weekend. Parker had a wonderful time. Poppy and Granny had given him a Thomas the Train when they first came and lets just say, he hasn't put it down yet. He takes it everywhere and I mean everywhere. On the 22nd Parker and I went with Jacie and Avie to Coco Keys and we had to take it there, in a backpack. He loves it. He even sleeps with it. He is playing with it right now as I type this. He loved Coco Keys until a huge bucket of water dumped on us. I thought we were in a place that we wouldn't get wet.....we were not. Luckily for us it was at the end and he was about ready to go anyway.

Parker's First Picture 3-15-2008, 4:31 pm

Happy Birthday to Parker!!

We had an impromptu party yesterday. Sunday morning we decided to have the grandparents and aunt meet at McDonald's, Parker's favorite place to go to, but he doesn't get to go often, for a fun dinner then back to our house for cake and presents. Parker had a blast. He got a Cars fishing pole from his grandpa and nana, a puzzle, colorforms and a leapfrog cake from granny and poppy and a mickey mouse race track, truck, plane and little people train from mommy, daddy and camden. He was so partied out that he went to bed at 9:30 and didn't get up until 10 this morning. Today I brought him a Thomas the train balloon at lunch. He loved it! He is very into transportation vehicles right now. He loves trains, trucks and cars. I can't believe he is 2 already. My baby is growing up so fast.

It Finally Happened!!

So after running tonight I go to take my shower and of course Buster sits outside the bathroom door crying. After I was finished I open the door and he is gone! He isn't in our bed, he isn't on the couch and he isn't downstairs. I notice that Parker's door was open so I figured that he walked in there and then just went to his cage so I go into Parker's room to turn the light on in his closet so when he wakes up in the morning he can see and I hear heaving breathing. I look over bc I'm afraid that Parker is having one of his bad dreams and low and behold, there is Buster sleeping in Parker's bed right at his feet. Parker is out cold and so is Buster and the best part, he is still in there!! We always wanted Buster to be able to sleep in Parker's room with him. They are bestest buddies. As I look back, I thought Buster was crying because he wanted Scott, but maybe he was crying because he wanted Parker. Parker loves Buster just as much as Buster loves Parker.

Parker is a Big Boy!

After witnessing Parker attempt to bounce himself over his bed rail then try to hike his leg over the rail on this past Thursday night, I decided it was time. Friday after school I bought him the bed rail and he has slept in his big boy bed the last two nights with no problems. He puts himself to bed and goes right to sleep. He is such a good boy.

Officially A Big Boy

Parker has officially become a big boy. He is sleeping in his crib with the rail off and a bed rail on. I decided to get one today because lastnight when I was watching him I saw him (1) try to bounce his way over the rail then (2) try to hike his leg over the rail. I was hoping to make it past his 2nd birthday, but I don't want him to break an arm so here we are. However, he was such a good boy tonight. He waslked right back to his bed at 9:15 with his bear, bottle and paci and climbed right into bed and went to sleep.

One another note, Scott has been away for the last two weekends (last Friday and Thursday night and tonight) and he was walking around the house tonight saying "Daddy, where are you?" It was sad and cute at the same time.

Here Comes Santa Claus

Playing with his new baseball tee.

Parker couldn't wait to get in the wagon from Nana and Grandpa.

Parker loved seeing his Uncle Ry and the best part of Ryan's visit had to have been when Parker looked at him and repeated after me "Hi, Ry!" My mom started to cry. It was special.

Playing with their new kitchen set.

Silly reindeer in his new Cavs jersey from Aunt Michele.

Say "Cheese!"

Loving his baby. I put her in there to get a pic and when I took her out he started saying "baby, baby" and reaching for her so I put her back in and this was what he did. He is such a wonderful big brother. Cam just lights up when she sees him and laughs at everything he does. What a special boy we have.

Riding his new four wheeler.

Playing with his new basketball hoop.

Making Granny pretend cry.

Wearing his new boots.

Thug Life

I don't remember how long ago this was, but it wasn't too long ago. Scott was listening to what music was on the ipod and this song happened to come on, needless to say, Parker started dancing around. He cracks me up.
